Is a leaning pole safe to leave until the weekend?
No. A pole that has moved is already carrying its span load through a footing or a butt that has partly failed, and it will keep moving. On an exposed ridge site the next gusty day is often enough to finish it. Have it assessed straight away, even if the power is still on.
Can you replace a pole where the truck cannot reach it?
Usually yes. Where an elevated work platform or auger cannot get onto the block we use smaller plant, rigging and hand excavation. Access takes longer and we will tell you that when we quote, but very few Bangor sites are genuinely unworkable.
